Lucky★Star Uniform Review

~Hello, and welcome to my blog!~

You probably know me as @the.otaku.diaries on IG, but on here I'll be using the name Tenshi Snow. For my first post I'll be doing a review of my new cosplay I got yesterday, the Lucky Star winter uniform. Let's get started, shall we?

So I ordered this Wednesday night, after finding out my original outfit was never really ordered (lesson learned, never get stuff from a slightly sketchy website...). It was $50, which was more than I would've wanted to spend, AND about $18 for rush shipping, but since I had about two weeks until Zenkaikon I really had no other choice at that point that was less expensive. It arrived Monday, which was surprisingly fast, so props for that.

The costume itself was slightly wrinkled but not enough to cause any major problems. I ordered a small and it ended up being a little big, but still wearable. I might pin the skirt so it can stay up a little higher. It also took a little bit of work to get it over my head, but I realized later it had a button on the side of the "undershirt" and a zipper the side of the actual shirt itself to help that. The skirt had a zipper and a button in the back.

The thing that irritated me the most was this weird ring on the front, probably meant to hold the ribbon in place. However, I couldn't figure out how that worked. I'll probably remove it later as I just find it an inconvenience and frustrating.

The colors all seem to match the uniforms in the anime, and nothing was missing. Above is an unfiltered photo I took yesterday of the costume. Excuse my messy Kagami wig. >///<

It smelled slightly when I opened it, almost like acrylic paint, however it's not a strong enough smell to cause a problem. In fact, I don't think it's a problem at all, but it was worth noting.

Pros: Fast Shipping, Accurate To Anime
Cons: $$$, Awkward Fit

~Final ★ Score~
Cost/Shipping Time: 8
Quality: 9
Accuracy: 10
Material & Fit: 7

Overall: 8.5
